2112 Communications Ltd respects your privacy and is committed to keeping your personal information safe.
We are focused on delivering a secure and robust service to our customers and interested parties, and privacy is crucial to achieving this. We don’t rent or sell your information to other businesses and have compiled details on what information we collect, when and why we collect it, how we use it, when we may disclose it to others, and how we keep it secure.
Data we collect
For all visitors to the following websites:
We collect the IP address, the pages you visit, and the date/time of these visits, as part of our standard system logs. These are essential in monitoring the website for intrusion attempts, investigating suspicious activity, and identification and mitigation of potential security and/or performance issues. The information we capture and store in our log files is deleted after 30 days.
Apart from the logs we capture as part of the basic operations of the website, there’s no requirement for you to share your information with us. If you do contact us and choose to share your information with us, here’s what we usually request, depending on where and how you’re engaging with us:
- Your name
- Email address
- Office location
- Company phone number
- LinkedIn URL
- Occasionally, your mobile number or direct office phone number if you provide us with it
- Details of your request
We also collect analytical data using Google Analytics, to track and report on general user behaviour on our website. The insights from this help inform us on future usability improvements to the website.
Data for Google Analytics is collected and processed by Google, only if you allow us to use statistics cookies on your device via the cookiebot service: https://www.cookiebot.com/en/
How we use your data
The information you choose to share with us is used for the following based on your preferences:
- To contact you as requested
- To measure interest in specific products, promotions, or content
- To analyse communications with our customers and interested parties
- Provide your data to Entourage BD: https://www.entouragebusinessdevelopment.co.uk for B2B outreach marketing purposes, only where we think that the product or service we are promoting is relevant to you (based on your job title and the sector that you operate within).
- Contact you because you have signed up to an event or booked an introductory meeting with us.
- Contact you because we haven’t heard from you following a previous attempt to get in touch about a product, service, event, piece of content or meeting that you might be interested in.
What we do NOT do:
- We do not share, sell, distribute, or lease your information to 3rd parties (other than our business development partner: Entourage BD) unless, we are required by law to do so.
- We do not send you information from or about 3rd parties.
How we protect your data
We restrict access to your data so that only our client services and outsourced business development teams have access to it. Access to your information is granted and restricted only when necessary, to inform and improve the user experience on the website. We don’t store your data for any longer than is needed.
Exceptions to the protection of your data arise:
- To comply with our legal obligations
- To exercise our legal rights (for example in court cases)
- For the prevention, detection, investigation of crime, or prosecution of offenders
- For the protection of our customers and employees
How we share your data
When you provide us with your data, it will be stored within our MailChimp CRM system. If you register for an event and enter your details, your data may be stored on Unbounce – the platform in which we build our event micro-sites.
We also work in partnership with Entourage Business Development Ltd (Entourage BD). They are an outsourced sales and marketing department for creative agencies. They work on behalf of 2112 Communications Ltd to contact businesses that might be interested in our offering.
When they are acting on our behalf they collect, store and process the data of individuals within businesses that may benefit from our products and services.
If you opt-out of a communication that we send you, we will share this opt-out information with Entourage BD to ensure they do not contact you again on our behalf.
Where we get your data
We collect personally identifiable information on certain areas of our website where you register, request information or a response, sign up for events or apply for jobs.
We also collect personal data from business cards that you may give us when we meet you in person.
When deciding whether to contact you about a product or a service, we look at your job title and the sectors you operate within. We also source our data from LinkedIn or Companies House – both of which are publicly accessible.
How long we keep your data
We review the personal data we store every two years. If it is out of date at that stage, we will remove it. If the data is still necessary to our processes, we will keep it on record.
Why do we need your data?
We require your personal data so that we can send you relevant communications about our products, services, events and thought leadership content. If we do not have the necessary data, we will not be able to contact you about relevant products and services that could enhance your business.
It is your right to request access to your personal data. You can do this by contacting us via email, phone or post, using the contact details provided at the top of this Privacy Notice. If you have previously given us consent to use your personal data, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. You also have the right to correct or delete your data from our systems or restrict how it is processed. You can do this via email, phone or post.
You can also use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails to remove your details from our mailing list.
How to complain

Using your data for automated decision making
We do not use your data for automated decision-making. We may use automated processes to send out emails related to an action that you have taken – e.g. sending you a reminder about an event you have signed up to, or resending an email that you haven’t yet opened.
